Cascade de la Pisse is a big waterfall near Valjouffrey (Parc National des Ecrins) in the French Alps. South of Grenoble, after La Mure (road N85) take the D526>D117 to Valbonnais and Valjouffrey.
At the end of the D117 (at Le Desert) you have to walk 3,5 kilometer further into the valley along the river La Bonne. At the left side Cascade de la Pisse shows up, you can’t miss. The walk is easy and takes 40-50 minutes.
Cascade de la Pisse thunders down, almost in a single drop, over 100 meters. Cascade de la Pisse is a powerful waterfall in summer, fed by a small glacier Coin Charnier. At the other side of the mountain you will find another great waterfall with the same name Cascade de la Pisse de Lanchatra. This is a region with many waterfalls fed by melting water from glaciers at high altitudes.
