From Geneve it is a short drive to Cascade de Pissevache. From the A40 take the exit to Morzine, after 9,5 kilometers take the exit to Samoens/Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval. In Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval drive further to Le Cirque du Fer a Cheval (there are signs). At the end of the road there is a big parking. In summertime this is a popular area for hiking.

From the parking you already have a good view on all the waterfalls and on the Cascade de Pissevache. It is possible to walk around the area to admire all the waterfalls from nearby.

Le Cirque du Fer a Cheval is one of the places you have to visit in France. At the end of the valley you will find a big mountain wall (4-5 kilometers) in the shape of a horseshoe where over 30 waterfalls are coming down. A lot of them are named, but the tallest and most impressive waterfall in Le Cirque du Fer a Cheval is the waterfall Cascade de Pissevache.

Cascade de Pissevache is one of the tallest waterfalls in France with a total height of 450 meters. The waterfall is fed by melted snow from the mountain range above le cirque with mountain peaks up to 3.000 meters. Best time to visit Cascade de Pissevache is early in the summer.
