Nölblinger wasserfall

The Nölblinger wasserfall is a small waterfall near the little village Nölbling-Dellach/Gailtal in the region Kärnten, Austria. Weidenburg is situated along road 110 in the south of Austria, between Hermagor and Kötschach.

From the southside of Nölbling a trail leads along the river Nölblingbach to the Nölblinger wasserfall and can be reached in 20-25 minutes. The Nölblinger wasserfall wasserfall falls towards the north, always difficult to say when the best moment is for taking pictures. I think at midday in the early summer or late spring.

The largest single drop of the Nölblinger wasserfall is only 10 meters high, but in total over 40 meters. The Nölblinger wasserfall consists out of several cascades.

At the west of the Nölblinger wasserfall you will find another waterfall called Kronhofer wasserfall.
