Cascate di Crosis

Cascata di Croses is a waterfall near Zomeais-Tarcento (north of Udine) in the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy.

From Tarcento drive north over road SR646 to Zomeais. In Zomeais you have to get to west side of the river and there turn right (Via Zimor). Park the car where it is possible. From here walk north over the road until it ends. Here begins a trail which lead to Cascata di Croses (5-10 minutes).

Cascata di Croses is an unnatural waterfall in the river Torre. At the waterfall there is a manmade dam where the river Torre drops down over 15 meter. At the base of the base of the waterfall Cascata di Croses looks quite natural and is a perfect spot for a swim in the river.

The waterfall is regulated so I really don’t know when the best time is to visit.
