Tschaukofall
(Tscheppaschlucht wasserfall)
The Tschaukofall waterfall is the highlight if the walk through the Tscheppaschlucht, a beautiful gorge, near Ferlach in the region Kärnten, Austria.
You have to pay admission for the Tscheppaschlucht. The entrance of the Tscheppaschlucht is located south of Klagenfurt and south of Ferlach along road 91. There is a big parking “Parkplatz Höllgraben” at Unterloibl (gps 46.496958, 14.283717). You can’t miss.

There are several small waterfalls in the Tscheppaschlucht but the Tschaukofall is the highest waterfall of all with a single drop of 26 meters. Over the Tschaukofall a suspension bridge provides a good view on the Tschaukofall.
Best time to visit the Tschaukofall is late in the morning-midday probably from the end of May until July the water flows at its maximum. The gorge is open from May to October.
