(Cascada de Marboré, Cascada Rio Cinca)

Cascada del Cinca or Cascada de Marboré is one of the biggest waterfall in Spain with a single drop of appr 110 meters and a total descent of 600 meters. Rio del Cinca is the name of the river and Pico Marbore (3.253 m) is the mountain where the source of the Rio Cinca is.

Cascada del Cinca is located near the mountain Monte Perdidio in Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido, in the region Aragon-Huesca, Spain.

You can access the Pineta valley from Bielsa. Take the exit Parador de Monte Perdido/Valle de Pineta in Bielsa. Follow the road (14 kilometer) to the very end and park the car here. The road is open all year, there’s a Parador (luxury) hotel at the end of the road.

It is short walk until you see Cascada del Cinca from a distance. At the right side you can see Rio Larari, also with a gorgeous waterfall.

After passing a spring and crossing a bridge you will see on your left the signpost “Cascada del Cinca”. You now walk on the right side of the river towards the waterfall Cascada del Cinca and to the mountain Pico de Pineta. You can encounter deers in the meadows.

When you reach the junction with signs (1650 m), turn left towards “Cascada del Cinca”. The trail takes you further to a point where two rivers meat each other and continue as one waterfall (1715 m). From here you should have a great view on Cascada del Cinca.
