Kesselwandfall

The Kesselwandfall is a low volume waterfall on the road (L209) between the Wiestalstausee and Gaissau in the region Salzburg, Austria.

The Kesselwandfall is normally a low volume waterfall but can be very powerful after heavy rainfall. Best time to visit the Kesselwandfall is in the afternoon: the Kesselwandfall falls towards the southwest.

From the roadside there is a trail heading directly to the Kesselwandfall that can be reached in a short time. Here the river Kernreiterbach drops down over 15 meters and is called the Kesselwandfall.
