Schrammacherfall
(Unterschrammacherfall)
The Schrammacherfall (Unterschrammacherfall) is a waterfall at the end of the Zillertalstrasse at a lake called Schlegeisspeiger near the village of Ginzing in the region Tirol, Austria.
From Mayrhofen drive south over the 169. At Ginzling keep right and proceed driving on the Zillerstrasse until the road ends. Here you already should see the Schrammacherfall (Unterschrammacherfall).
The river Unterschrammach is fed by several glaciers in the mountains Hohewand (3.289 m) and Olperer (3.476 m). In summertime the flow of the river and also the flow in the Schrammacherfall (Unterschrammacherfall) should be tremendous.
The Schrammacherfall (Unterschrammacherfall) is appr. 160 meters high.
