Sebastianfall

(Sebastian wasserfall)

The Sebastianfall (also named Sebastian wasserfall) is a nice waterfall west of Puchberg am Schneeberg near the hamlet Sonnleiten (Puchberg am Schneeberg) in the region Niederösterreich, Austria.

From highway A26, at Puchberg am Schneeberg, take the exit to Sonnleiten. In Sonnleiten there is a small road going north called wasserfallweg that takes you to restaurant “Wasserfallwirt”. Here is a small parking for customers (gps 47.793173, 15.857393).

From the parking at restaurant “Wasserfallwirt” is only a 10 minute walk to the base of the Sebastianfall.

Sebastianfall is called after the river Sebastianbach and cascades down over 30 meters with a a single drop of appr. 17 meters.

Best time to visit the Sebastianfall is in the morning, probably best in the early summer.
