Sintersbacher Wasserfall
The Sintersbacher Wasserfall is a beautiful waterfall at Jochberg in the region Tirol, Austria.
A particularly impressive hike leads to the Sintersbacher waterfalls at Jochberg, between Mittersill and Kitzbuhel. The trail to theSintersbacher Wasserfall starts at the parking lot Schradler in Jochberg. Over the old Triebweg you can reach the waterfall in about 60 minutes. The trail is signed.
Best time to visit the Sintersbacher Wasserfall is in the early summer when snow starts melting. The river Sintersbach starts with cascading at an altitude of 1.298 meters and drops almost vertically down over 85 meters. I think the height of the Sintersbacher Wasserfall is in total more then 120 meters.
The main source of Sintersbach has its origins south above the Sintersbachtal. In a warm period, in the early summer or in wet period, the volume of the Sintersbacher Wasserfall can rise up to 40 l/sec.
