Spekes mill mouth waterfall (sometimes written as Speke’s mill) is a gorgeous waterfall near Milford and Hartland (Bideford) at the south west of England (UK).
Spekes mill mouth waterfall is located at the northern part of Devon and can be reached by a nice walk from the hamlet Milford. From Hartland drive to coast towards Stoke and there go left to Milford (narrow road).
There is no official parking in Milford but park your car where possible. There are three public trails going to the Spekes mill mouth waterfall with signs « public path ». I guess the walk will take appr. 20 minutes and should be not that difficult.
From aside, at the top of the waterfall, you will have an amazing view on three major stage with a total drop of 48 meters. Very impressive to see.
For me discovering the Spekes mill mouth waterfall was a big surprise. I thought I knew all locations of worthwhile waterfalls in the Uk but this waterfall belongs to one of the most beautiful waterfall in the UK.
