Stodfossen
Stodfossen is a waterfall near Hovin (Stodvolldalen), in the region Sør-Trøndelag, Norway.
When driving on road E6, from Trondheim to the south, you drive by the small village Hovin. Here a trail starts following the river Gaua, into the Stodvolldalen. At the end of the valley you will find a waterfall with a single drop of appr. 25 meter.
Unfortunately I can’t find detailed information about the hike. You can start walking from hiking staying at the south side of the river Gaua (appr. 8,4 km).
I think it is also possible to drive up (on a gravel road) to gps 63.061592, 10.1723057 (7 km from Hovin). From here it is only a 1,4 km walk.
