Fätschbachfall

Fätschbachfall - KlausenpassThe Fätschbachfall is an unknown but quite a beautiful waterfall when driving down the Klausenpass, when coming from the west, in the region Uri, Switzerland.

Most people are coming to the Klausenpass region for the beauty of the road and its famous waterfalls Stäubifall and a little further the Berglistüber wasserfall. In between lies the Fätschbachfall in a gorgeous surrounding. The waterfall isn’t very powerful but the looks makes this one of the nicer waterfalls to see and to photograph.

When driving down the Klausenpass to the east on road 17 you finally wil see the Fätschbachfall falling down in a single drop of  appr. 80 meter. In the background you still see a lot of snow on the mountains Bocktschingel and Gemsfairenstock with a spur of the glacier Hüfifirn.
