Parco la Cascatella, cascata

Cascata Parco la Cascatella is a nice waterfall near Castello Tesino in the region Trentino – Alto Adige (Südtirol), Italy.

North of Castello Tesino take road sp79 to Passo Brocon. After 2,6 kilometer you see a sign “Parco Castello” pointing to the right. Follow the signs to the parking (in summertime you have to pay for the parking).

At the parking you already see a nice waterfall dropping down over 15 meter, Cascata Parco la Cascatella. This is a nice waterfall early in the summer when there is enough water in the river Rio Acopan. In summertime the river runs (almost) dry.

Parco is a picnic area with a big meadow where children can play and have fun. It is also possible to hike in the area.
