Waterfalls in Ireland republic

Waterfalls in the republic of IrelandThere aren’t many waterfalls in the Republic of Ireland but it is a gorgeous country with one well known waterfall, Powerscourt waterfall. Indeed a country worthwhile to visit but not with that many big waterfalls.

The western part of Ireland consists of rugged cliffs, hills and low mountains. The highest mountain is the Carrauntoohil with a height of 10038 meter and is located in the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks mountain range in the southwest of the country.

The Republic of Ireland is famous because of its rainfall, always good for a good water flow. The tallest waterfall in Ireland is the Powerscourt waterfall with a height of 122 meter and is located south of Dublin.
