Waterfalls in North Macedonia
The republic of North Macedonia is one of the former countries of Yugoslavia and has a few nice waterfalls. The republic of North Macedonia is located north of Greece and has, in summertime, a warm climate with little rain.
The republic of North Macedonia has several mountain ranges. Mount Korab is the tallest mountain with a height of 2.764 meter and is located in the Šar Mountain range on the border with Albania.
Korab Vodopad (Proifel falls) is the highest waterfall in the country with a total height of 130 meter. The waterfall is located in the west on the border with Albania in Mavrovo National Park.
