Hestafoss
Hestafoss is a waterfall in the south of Iceland not far from Írárfoss on road F-246. The river Írá falls down a cliff and ends appr. 30 meters lower. Right after the first drop of 30 meters there are several other small drops until the river Írá reaches a big cliff where the Íráfoss falls down over 30-60 meters.
The walk to the Hestafoss takes about 2 hours following the river Írá. From the Írárfoss you have to stay on the east side of the river. It isn’t an official trail, so be careful.
