Cascada de Molinieto is a waterfall in Parque Nacional de Ordesa. Cascada de Molinieto is one of the many waterfalls in the river Rio Arazas and is one of teh first waterfalls you see, before you enter Parque Nacional de Ordesa. We discovered Cascada de Molinieto 4 kilometer before the park entrance along the road. I am not sure how we discovered the waterfall because the road is very narrow and there is hardly an opportunity to stop.
Cascada de Molinieto is located near Torla, in Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido, in the region Aragon-Huesca, Spain. From Biescas drive to Torla over road N260a, take the turn to Torla and Parque Nacional de Ordesa. Cascada de Molinieto is located along the road.
I am not a 100% sure the pictures are Cascada de Molinieto because the river has so many small drops, but I think so. You can walk to Cascada de Molinieto from the roadside but from the crossing, 1 kilometer back, a trail starts that leads to the southside of the river Rio Arazas and from there follows the river east. From this trail several waterfalls must be visible. AfterCascada de Molinieto the next waterfall is called Cascada de Turieto and after that Cascada de Tomborrotera and after that Cascada de los Abetos.
From the park entry of Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido you can make several walks. we followed the river Arripas to the end where the big Cascada Cola de Caballo can be admired. On the way you will see several other waterfalls: Casada del Estrecho, Cascada de Cotatuero (from a distance), Gradas de Soasa, Cascada de Arripas and several other small or unnamed falls.
