Cascade du Voile de la Mariée is located at the end of road D480. From N85 at Saint Firmin take road D985a to La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar. From here the road is called D48o. Just after Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar at the left side first Cascade de Combefroide shows up and 3,5 kilometers Cascade du Casset shows up at the left. From there Cascade du Voile de la Mariée is another 6 kilometers to the parking at Voile de la Mariée.
The route to refuge de Gioberney is of astonishing beauty. Just before the refuge, at your left side, you will see Cascade du Voile de la Mariée. The waterfall isn’t very powerful in summertime, but especially the surrounding makes this waterfall a gorgeous site you must visit.
Cascade du Voile de la Mariée is a gorgeous waterfall that drops down over appr. 120 meters in multiple stages. The waterfall is most of the time nice to see but very impressive from springtime until early summer.
