Innfall

The Innfall is a 120 meter high waterfall near the Silsersee (Maloja), south west of Sankt Moritz in the region Graubünden, Switzerland.

The waterfall doesn’t look very spectacular but early in the summer it must have a respectable volume. From Sankt Moritz drive to the Silsersee and Maloja. The Innfall is visible from the roadside (gps 46.406605, 9.697783) but can run dry in summertime.

It is also possible to take a trail up from where you can view the Innfall from a little closer.

After personally discovering this waterfall while searching for the source of the Inn River on Google Maps, I then stumbled upon this website while looking up further information about Innfall online — and I’m so glad I did!
Ever since I was a child (I’m now 28), I have always loved geography, maps, atlases, etc. Therefore, to have an amazing geographically informative, interesting, and (even sort of) interactive database at my disposal is simply a joy and a pleasure!
