Henrhyd waterfall (also named as Hnerhyd falls or Sgwd Henrhyd) is a superb waterfall in Coelbren (Brecon Beacons national Park), northeast of Swansea in Wales (United Kingdom).
From Swansea take the A465 to Glynneath. Here you take the exit to Coelbren (road A4221). Henrhyd waterfall is located at the north side of the village.There a two walks from the car park at Henrhyd. If you want to just visit the waterfall, follow the path from the car park down the well-made path to the junction at the bottom. From here turn left and cross the bridge over the Nant Llech and walk up the wooden staircase to join the path. The waterfall is two minutes from here.
Henrhyd waterfall is a powerful waterfall (in a rainy season) where the river Nan Llech plunges down, in a single drop, over 27 meters. The waterfall is quit special, the shape of the waterfall is like a veil and you can walk behind the waterfall. Henrhyd waterfall was the entrance of the Cave of the Batman movie „The dark knight rises“ (2012).
