Cascade des Veyrines

Cascade des Veyrines is a small but nice looking waterfall northwest of Allanche in the region Auvergne/Cantal, France.

From Allanche drive north in the direction of Landeyrat on road D679. After 5 kilometer Cascade de Veyrines is located near the crossing of road D21/D679. You can park the car along the road (gps 45.251881, 2.895166). Just before the crossing there is a path, with a sign, leading to the waterfall. From here it is a hundred meter to a viewpoint on Cascade de Veyrines.

The short walk leads to a nice pool in front of the waterfall, perfect for a swim. Cascade de Veyrines is a low volume waterfall with single drop of appr. 8 meter located in a beautiful setting.
