Cascata dei Faggi

Cascata dei Faggi is a small waterfall near Varda (municipality of Bedollo), in the region Trentino – Alto Adige (Südtirol) Italy.

From Trento drive in the direction of Levico Terme (ss47) and at Madrano take the SP83 to Cialini. There drive to Varda. You can easily walk along the paved road that goes along the valley of the Rio Regnana (signposted path SAT 406).

It is possible to drive by car over the narrow paved road to a small parking spot (gps 46.162072, 11.291557) at the trailhead. From the parking it is a 10 minute walk that will bring you into a gorge carved in porphyry where you can admire the cascata del Lupo, nestled between dark vertical walls of porphyry coated with moss and lichen bright colors.
