Gaustafallet

Gaustafallet is a small but very powerful waterfall in the river Gaavesjohke with a height of appr. 7 meter. When driving on a the road (824) that follows the river Gaavesjohke, near the border with Norway, you will see several spectacular rapids. Gaustafallet is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region.

From the roadside it is a 150 walk to the river before you can see this impressive waterfall. The landscape looks quite desolated which makes Gaustafallet a thankful waterfall to photograph, a nice scenic picture.
