Gjuvfossen (Etnedal)

Gjuvfossen, also called the Juvfossen, is very nice waterfall with a vertical drop of about 30 meters. The waterfall is located in the Etnedal 2 kilometers south of the village Rust (Etnedal) in the region Oppland, Norway.

The waterfall is located near road Fv250 (Etnedalsvegen) and is visible from the road when driving from the north to the south ( towards Bruflat). The waterfall is a little hidden in a small gorge.

There is no official parking but for a short while you can park your car somewhere along the road. As far as I can see you can’t walk to the base of Gjuvfossen but you can walk a little closer crossing a small river. You have to enjoy the waterfall from a short distance.
