The Günster wasserfall or Günstner wasserfall is a waterfall east of the village Krakaudof in the region Steiermark. When driving from Krakaudorf to Schröder (over the Kunstenweg) there is a signed parking lot at the left side of the road.From here you have to walk further down the road until you reach the trail along the river Schröderbach.
The river Schröderbach cascades down from the mountain over 65 meters and the Günster wasserfall is one of the highest waterfalls in the region Steiermark and very popular by tourists. In summertime the water flow in the Günster wasserfall is 0,25-0,3 m3/sec.
From the parking lot a trail of mainly wooden constructions/bridges leads along the Günster wasserfall and takes about 45 minutes. There are several manmade viewpoint in the Gorge and the Günster wasserfall consists of three major stages.
The Günster wasserfall is located in a gorge and is falling towards the south. Best time to visit the Günster wasserfall is at midday.
