Hovmannafossen
Maybe the Hovmannafossen aren’t the most spectacular waterfalls in Norway but a nice change when driving on road E16 heading to Bergen. Off course the Tvindefossen near Voss are much nicer but the Hovmannafossen is an official named waterfall in the river Geitåni wich flows into the large Evangervatnet. The river cascades down over more then two hundred meters bus has one major plunge named the Hovmannafossen. This part is about 60 meters high.
The Hovmannafossen is visible from road E16 looking towards the Evangervatnet, just before and after the tunnel. From here you will photograph towards the north-northeast.
