Keransfoss

Keransfoss is a small waterfall in the Northwest of Iceland on the peninsula Snæfellsnes. The water of the river Setbergsá drops down over appr. 3-5 meters.

Keransfoss is located near road 54 between Stykkishólmur and Breiðabólsstaður. Somewhere halfway there is side road to the farm Setberg. From there you have to drive to Litli-Langidalur (jeep road) and walk the last part (3,5 km) following the river Setbergsá and turn left by the river Kernasá. Then it is another 500 m before reaching the fall.

The peninsula Snæfellsnes is a region with many waterfalls worthwhile to visit.
