Njupeskär
(Njupeskärsfallet)
Njupeskär is the highest waterfall in Sweden with a single drop of 70 meters and a total height of 125 meters.
Njupeskär is located 20 kilometer west of Särna in Fulufjället national park, not far from the border with Norway. From Särna drive west to Mörkret. On the way you will see a sign pointing left to Njupeskär (6 kilometer). There is a big parking and a restaurant at the end.
The are several trails to Njupeskär which are well marked. There is a trail of 4 kilometer (Njupeskärsslingan), that is easy that leads to the bottom of Njupeskär. There is also a longer and more diificult trail called Fallet runt (5,5 km) that leads to the bottom and a higher viewpoint.
Fulufjället national park is only open from june to september!
