Cascada de Orbaneja Del Castillo is an extraordinary waterfall in the center of the village Orbaneja Del Castillo, Castilla y León, Spain.

From the coastline take road N623, near Torrelavega to Burgos. In Escalada take road B643 that follows the river Ebro. In the village of Orbaneja Del Castillo you can’t miss this rare waterfall popular by tourists.

It is easy to find a parking spot and there are many restaurants in the village to enjoy local food. The waterfall is main attraction of the village: Water coming out from a cave, just above the village , flows underneath the houses directly in the river Ebro.

Cascada de Orbaneja Del Castillo is only 25 meter high but I have never seen such a natural phenomenon with some nice travertines downstream from Cascada de Orbaneja Del Castillo.

I am not sure what the best time is to visit Cascada de Orbaneja Del Castillo. I think in springtime.
