Pitze wasserfall

The Pitze wasserfall is the unofficial name for a powerful waterfall at the end of the Pitztal near Mittelberg in the region Tirol, Austria.

From Mittelberg it is a firm, but easy walk (40 minutes) along the river Pitze before you reach the multiple cascade waterfall that is called Pitze wasserfall. The river cascades down over several steps but the biggest is appr. 15-20 meters high and in summertime very powerful.

Unfortunately I had some problems with my shoes and due of blisters on my feet I didn’t got very far. The photos’ I took are from a distance but imagine that the Pitze waserfall is far away, then it should be a big and impressive waterfall.
