Pojer wasserfall

The Pojer wasserfall or Cascata Pojer in Italian is a gorgeous, quite unknown, waterfall near Sand in Taufers in the region Trentino – Alto Adige (Südtirol), Italy.

From Bruneck drive north to Sand in Taufers on road SS621. 1.5 km after Sand in Taufers there is a small pedestrian bridge over the river Ahr/Aurino (gps 46.93144, 11.93926) Park the car here.

The Pojer wasserfall (Cascata Pojer) is easy to access and a short walk begins at the bridge (near road ss621) over the river Ahr/Aurino. Cross the bridge and go directly left walking along the river. After 900 meters you reach a path going right that runs into woodland. After a short climb up you reach a viewpoint. Here the Pojer wasserfall (Cascata Pojer) is located in a small gorge.
