Salurn wasserfall
(Cascata Salorno, Titschenbach wasserfall)
The Salurn wasserfall, also called Cascata Salorno or Titschenbach wasserfall, is a 68 meter high single drop waterfall that can be very impressive early in the summer or after heavy rainfall.
The Salurn wasserfall is located in the town of Salurn/Salorno in the region Trentino – Alto Adige, Italy.
The Salurn wasserfall is visible from the roadside SS12, but if you drive into Salurn/Salorno you can walk to the waterfall. Park your car somewhere in Salurn/Salorno. The nearest parking is at gps 46.237844, 11.213557.
Walk into via Valfredda and turn directly right. There is a path going to the mountain wall that leads to the river Titschenbach.
Cross the bridge and walk towards the waterfall. In a few minutes time you will reach a viewpoint at the base of the Salurn wasserfall/Cascata Salorno. At the right you can see a beautiful castle “Haderburg-Castello di Salorno”.
I don’t think that the the Salurn wasserfall is a permanent waterfall but in a rainy period quite nice to see.
