Angon, Cascade d’

(Cute du Grenand, Chute du Nant d'Oy)

Cascade d’Angon is a beautiful waterfall east of Lac d’Annecy near the village Angon in the region Rhone Alpes/Haute Savoie, France.

From Annecy you have to take the D909 at the east side of the lake to Talloires. Just before the next village Angon take the exit to the left. The trail starts a little bit further on the left and goes steep up.
Another possibility is to drive from Talloires to Verel over the D42. In Verel a signed trail starts from Chemin de Verel and takes 20-40 minutes.

It is possible to walk behind the waterfall on a manmade path in the mountainside. Cascade d’Angon is appr. 40 meters high and is fed by two small rivers Nant de Grenant and Nant d’Oy.
