Cascade du Saut du Moine

Cascade du Saut du Moine is a single drop waterfall of 50 meters near Talloires (Lac d’Annecy) in the region Rhone Alpes/Haute Savoie, France.

Taillores is located at the east side of Lac d’Annecy. South of the roundabout a trail starts that goes (steeply) up. Before the steep part you can go left to a path that leads to the base of Cascade du Saut du Moine.

I am nor sure if you can reach the bottom of the waterfall without bathing through the river because all pictures I see of the big waterfall are made by people that are canyoning through the river Nant de Craz. We tried to visit Cascade du Saut du Moine May 2022 but the flow of the river was low and it was impossible to see the waterfall from the trail.

Cascade du Saut du Moine is on its best after a period with rainfall, probably early Spring or Autumn.
