Bjorndolafossen

Bjorndolafossen is an unknown waterfall opposite of the more known waterfall Sendefossen, in the Kavassdalen/Myrkdalen in the region Hordaland, Norway.

Driving from Vinje to Vangsnes over road 13 you already see the Sendefossen from a distance, but at the right side there are two more impressive waterfalls falling down over 180 meter.

Bjorndolafossen is fed by several small lakes and melting water from the Bjørndalskamben at an altitide of 1.400 meter. It is possible to walk up to walk up along the river Bjørndøla into the Kvassdalen.
