Lavey, Cascade de la

Cascade de la Lavey is a nice waterfall near Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans along road D530 in Parc national des Écrins, France.

From road D530 there is a small road heading to an ancient bridge over the river Veneon: Pont Veneon. I think an opportunity to make a great photo. The bridge in the foreground and Cascade de la Lavey in the background.

It is quit confusing how Cascade de la Lavey looks like. I see two kind of photo’s….both beautiful: A single drop waterfall of appr 18 meter or a much higher waterfall of appr. 60 meter. Nevertheless, the waterfall seems easy to reach and is beautiful enough to make a short detour.
