Möllfall

The Möllfall is an hidden waterfall just south of Heiligenblut in the region Kärnten, Austria.

The Möllfall jumps down over more than 10 meters and had to find its way through a narrow gorge. I was wondering why there are only one or two pictures of the waterfall. So July 2022 I walked to the top of the waterfall (that is possible) but there was no water in it… It seems that the flow of the river is regulated!! I also think there isn’t a good viewpoint for a good view on the Möllfall, maybe with a drone.

There are many historic pictures of the Möllfall, but nowadays it is a little bit a forgotten waterfall.  Maybe because there are several other famous waterfall nearby: Jungfernsprung and the Gossnitzfall.
