Cascada de La Escaleruela
Cascada de la Escaleruela is a waterfall in the river Barranco Ciño Negro and is appr 50 meters heigh. Cascada de la Escaleruela is located northeast of Zaorejas in the region Castilla la Mancha-Guadalajara, Spain.
From Zaorejas drive north over road CM-2015. After 7 kilometer there is a small dustroad to the right with a sign Alto Tajo. Go right here or park thee car somewhere here. After 1 kilometer you will see Cascada de la Escaleruela at the right side of the road.
Cascada de la Escaleruela is situated in a gorgeous national park: Parque Natural del Alto Tajo. Between Zaorejas and the right turn to the waterfall you also can walk to a magnificent viewpoint Mirador Alto Tajo where you have an overview on the canyon of the river Tajo.
A little bit further (west), also along the river Tajo, you will find another terrific waterfall Cascada del Campillo.
