Cascade d’Anterne
Cascade d’Anterne is a beautiful waterfall south of Sixt Fer a Cheval (Samoens) in the region Rhone Alpes/Haute Savoie, France. From Sixt Fer a Cheval you have to drive south for 8 kilometer over road D29 until the road ends.
From the parking at the end of the road (short after cascade du Rouget) it is an easy walk to Cascade de la Pleureuse and Cascade de la Sauffaz in 25 minutes (1,3 kilometers). At these waterfalls you have to follow trail Gr5 to the east (left). The trail goes up to Collet d’Anterne and a plateau where you have a great view on Cascade d’Anterne. I think it is a heavy walk up for 30-40 minutes.
In the area of Sixt Fer a Cheval there are several great waterfalls to visit. The most popular one is a waterfall Cascade du Rouget.
