Cascade de la Pisse is a big waterfall near Valjouffrey (Parc National des Ecrins) in the French Alps. The waterfall is located south of Grenoble.
From Grenoble drive to La Mure (road N85) and there take the D526>D117 to Valbonnais and Valjouffrey. At the end of the D117 (at Le Desert) park your car at the trailhead. From here it is a 3,5 kilometer walk further into the valley following the river La Bonne. After 40-50 minutes cascade de la Pisse shows up at your left hand, impossible to miss. The walk is easy and pleasnat and is suitable for children.
Cascade de la Pisse thunders down, almost in a single drop, over 100 meters. The waterfall is especially powerful in summertime and is fed by a small glacier called Coin Charnier.
At the other side of the mountain you will find another great waterfall with a similar name Cascade de la Pisse de Lanchatra. This is a region with many waterfalls fed by melting water from glaciers at high altitudes.
