Cascata di Frenay

Cascata di Frenay is an unknown waterfall near the village of Cerellaz in the region Valle d’Aosta, Italy.

From La Salle drive east over road SS26 and at a roundabout follow the signs for Cerellaz. Park your car along the road just before the picnic spot Lo Crou (gps 45.713865, 7.123993).

Follow the sign cascata de Frenay to a trail (7B) that runs partially to Cascata di Frenay. In the beginning the trail goes slightly down, then slightly up. After appr. 15 minutes there is wooden sign pointing to “cascada”. Here the trail goes up and you will reach Cascata di Frenay soon.

The waterfall is located in a scenic surrounding and the river Vertosan drops down over 30 meter.
