Falls of Glomach

The falls of Glomach is a very spectacular waterfall with a single drop of 113 meters and maybe a total height even higher. Unfortunately the falls of Glomach aren’t easy to reach.

The falls of Glomach are located northeast of Morvich. From Inverness drive south an after 55 kilometers (Invermoriston) take the exit to the A887/A87 towards Ratagan/Morvich. Park the car in Morvich, at the Dorusduain car park.

It is 6,5-8 km walk from the Dorusduain car park running up the hills. A roundtrip takes 5-6 hours! In summertime there are guided tours to the falls of Glomach but in summer the falls are not that spectacular because of a lack of water.

Glomach means gloomy, because the falls are often shrouded in mist. So before you want to go to the falls of Glomach, check out the weather.
