Ramhultafallet

Ramhultafallet is a nice waterfall with multiple small drops. The tallest single drop is appr. 4 meter and the total descent is over 50 meter.

The waterfall is located in the small river Ramnån, just before it ends in the large lake Lygnern.
A good time to visit is after a rainy period or at the end of a cold winter period when the waterfall is covered with ice. Note however that you need good tires on the car for the narrow steep gravel road down from the main road during winter.

Ramhultafallet is located south of Göteborg. From the E6 take exit 58 to Fjärås, and continue towards Sätila on the road north of the lake until you see the sign for Ramhultafallet (3 kilometer). Smaller roads will then take you down to the a small parking lot just a few hundred meters from the waterfall.

There is a wide path from the parking lot and easy access even with wheelchair. There are two picnic tables and a fireplace close to the fall. (You need to bring your own wood for the fire.) There is also another smaller path from the parking lot to the upper part of the falls. It is possible to walk up besides
the fall as well but it is quite difficult.
