Sarafiovy vodopad

Šarafiový vodopád is a low volume waterfall cascading down the mountains at the end of the valley Žiarska dolina, north of Liptovský Mikuláš in the region Žilina, Slovakia.

From Liptovský Mikuláš drive north to Žiar and go a little bit further until the road ends at a parking. From here it is a 1 hour walk to Žiarska chalet where also Šarafiový vodopád is located (at the left).

Melted water from the mountain Banikov cascades down from 2.178 meter. Especially when temperatures are rising in  late spring time there will be enough water in Šarafiový vodopád. Although Internet mentions that the waterfall is 20 meter high, I think in total it more then 150 meter.
