Schiedlenfall

The Schiedlenfall is in total a high waterfall near Bad Hopfreben, in teh Bregenzer Wald, in the region Vorarlberg, Austria.

On the road from Schoppernau to Schrocken the road follows the river Bregenzer Ache. Near the Schiedlenalm the waterfall Schiedlenfall falls down. From the road the Schiedlenfall is visible.

It is possible to walk to the fall in 10 minutes. When there is a bridge over the Bregenzer Ache, walk for 10 minutes upstream.

The waterfall can be impressive with enough water in it. Probably late spring or early summer there is a lot of melting snow and is the Schiedlenfall a real powerful waterfall. In summertime the stream of the watercourse is rather tiny.
