Schrambacherfall
The Schrambacherfall is one of the great waterfalls in the region of Tirol. The Schrambacherfall is located near Stockach, south of Hallein, in the region Salzburg, Austria.
From the A10 take the exit Kuchl (22), and follow the signs to Kuchl (road 159). In Kuchl stay right and drive towards Stockach and cross the river Salzach. After Stockach you will cross the river Schrambach. Park the care somewhere here. It is a 10 minute walk to the Schrambacherfall.
There are no signs, but the Schrambacherfall isn’t hard to find. The Schrambacherfall is difficult to approach to get a good view. I made a severe fall when trying to get to the bottom of the fall, but I have seen several pictures of people who did. Maybe there is an easier way then I did.
The Schrambacherfall looks very similar to the Schleierfall, one kilometer to the south at Stockach, but it are really two different waterfalls. Another great waterfall nearby is the Gollingfall, a waterfall you don’t have to miss.
