Staðarfoss
Staðarfoss is a waterfall in the Northwest of Iceland on a small peninsular with the mountain Reykjanesfjall. The river falls down over appr. 30 meters and is fed by the water of the Staðarvatn.
Staðarfoss can be found west of Reykhólar on Barðaströnd, just after the farm Skerðingsstaðir along road 607, a sideroad of road 60.
In front of the Staðarfoss you will find the Staðarkirkja. Staðarkirkja church was built in 1864 by Dani?el Hjaltason, goldsmith, local official and farmer.
