Cauldron Snout

Caldron Snout is a waterfall downstream of the Cow green reservoir dam near Harwood in the Teesdales, England (United Kingdom).

From the A66/A67 take road B6277 (Penine way) in Barnard Castle heading north. From Langdon Beck or Harwood there is a small road going to the reservoir.

From the car park, follow the footpath towards the dam head for 3 km. Walking down along the river Trees gives a good view on Cauldron Snout, just below the dam. Cauldron Snout cascades down over 61 meters and is 180 meters long.
