Cascada de Nocedo

(Cascada de Valdecesar, Cola de Caballo)

Cascada de Nocedo, sometimes named Cascada de Valdecesar or Cola de Caballo, is a a waterfall hidden in a narrow gorge with a single drop of appr. 25 meters.

Cascada de Nocedo is located south of Nocedo de Curueño (45 kilometer north of the town Leon) in the region Castile y León-Leon, Spain.

From Leon drive north to La Robla (N-630) and there go right to La Vecilla de Curueno. Here go left to Nocedo de Curueño (LE-321). You will see a nice paved path at the left side of the road that leads to Cascada de Nocedo. In a few minutes time you will reach the platform where you have a good view on the waterfall. Because it is quite dark go at noon to visit Cascada de Nocedo.
